Data protection is our utmost priority; your data will be handled exclusively in compliance with applicable laws (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR; Telekommunikationsgesetz, TKG). In this data protection statement, we inform you about the processing of the information linked to our homepage.
Any change of our data protection and privacy policy will be published on this page for your information.
Data collection
To perform our services, we are collecting personal data which may include your full name, postal- and email addresses, phone number and, if applicable, VAT number. We are using this information only in our communication and for invoicing procedures. These data will be deleted from our system six months after completion of our services. However, in case a work agreement was signed and/or an invoice issued, these records will be kept for seven years for tax obligations in compliance with legal requirements (§ 96 Abs 3 TKG, as well as Art 6 Abs 1 according to the GDPR).
Third authorised parties may have access to your personal data, like our accountant and/or the Austrian tax office.
Data access
By using our homepage and communicating with us per e-mail, you are consenting to the collection and use of this information by Cilas e.U.
As described in the GDPR, you have the right at any time to access these data and to ask us to correct or to delete them, as well as to withdraw your authorisation to collect or transfer them; in this case, we will proceed to the requested changes within one month of receipt of your demand. If you think that our data processing is in breach of the General Data Protection Regulation or transgressing your rights, please inform us straight away (see our contact data below). You have also the possibility to file a complaint at the competent regulatory authorities.
Server-Logfiles
Technical data (browser and operating system) are collected automatically by our hosting -provider when you are accessing our homepage. This information will be saved for two weeks as server-logfiles and then be deleted. The gathered data, which are not containing any IP-address, are collected for statistical evaluation.
Data security
Secured data networks are in place, including standard firewall and password protection systems, in order to handle your data safely. Moreover, data transfer will only occur through crypted share data system and a periodic backup of data is regularly taking place.
Confidentiality
The collected data, as well as any other provided document, will be treated as strictly confidential, won’t be used for non-authorised purpose and won’t be shared with third parties without your previous written approval.
A confidentiality agreement could be potentially signed before the beginning of our cooperation in order to guarantee the protection of your data.
Cookies
Our homepage is using so-called cookies. There are small data files, which are stored on your computer by your browser. They are not causing any damage. We are using cookies to offer you an user-friendly interface. Some cookies may be stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser by the next time you will visit our homepage.
